My friend Stephen has been hard at work on his game, Tiny Armory- sign up to keep track, if you’re interested! I’m excited to see where it goes, and will be jumping on this summer as a programmer.

Mo’ details:

SHABOOM!  Tiny Armory is all about blowing each other up in the most fun and silly ways possible.

100 Unique Tanks based on real and fictional designs. Historic, science-fiction, fantasy, modern, pirate, cute, apocalypse, steampunk.

20 Imaginative Levels from the grassy fields of france, to the snow-blind mountaintops in Antarctica, to OUTER SPACE.

Crazy Abilities to keep you on your toes; use bubbles to lift your enemies; devour mushrooms to grow huge; set yourself on fire and ram enemies; raise tanks from the dead.

“Wycinanki” will be shown at the 2012 Asheville International Children’s Film Festival in Asheville, NC from Nov.  2 to 11:

The Asheville International Children’s Film Festival provides culturally diverse, value-affirming cinema for ages 3 to adult. The festival uses media as a tool to achieve its  goal: to stimulate critical thinking and  promote intelligent dialogue through the introduction of passionate and provocative cinematic works.

Our vision for the Asheville International Children’s Film Festival is to create an educational visual medium for families. The festival complements the educational processes taught at schools with workshops and programs, and provides tools and material to support a visual understanding of other cultures, traditions, lives and experiences.

“Wycinanki” placed 2nd this past week at the 2012 Jalloo Festival of Animation and Games in Miramichi, NB, Canada. This is 3rd festival win so far :)

Jalloo exists to help promote and develop the Animation and Games industry in the Atlantic provinces.

The Annual Jalloo Festival plus a variety of activities during the year allows professionals the opportunity to network, meet new professionals just entering the industry, meet with guest speakers from all over, and take part in professional development through discussions, panels, and workshops.

Wycinanki wins Best Animation at GVIFF

Wycinanki took home a Greenville Glory for Best Animation this weekend at the inaugural Greenville International Film Festival. GVIFF was a blast- the featured films were amazing, and I enjoyed meeting fellow filmmakers.

I had the pleasure of attending with my Wyc partner, Cory Buckley, and fellow Clemson Digital Production Arts students. I hope to come back next year!
